ACMA Radio Licensing

Wednesday 08 May 2013

The recent announcement from ACMA about radio licensing and UHF radio usage in Australia has caused much concern and confusion in the GNSS Surveying industry. Our Technical Brief is aimed at spelling out these changes in simple terms so that you can understand what needs to change (if anything) with your system. There are some clever fear campaigns being aimed at our industry which appear to work well at confusing people by not explaining the whole picture.

For the past 17 years GlobalPOS has provided sales, rentals and technical support for mapping and RTK solutions to industries including Forestry, Mining and Exploration, Surveying, and Government services. GlobalPOS takes great pride in being the only high accuracy GNSS specialist in Australia whose sole business interest is in providing High Accuracy GNSS solutions. Working on projects in Australia and overseas has given us the skills and knowledge to cater for the many situations which can arise in the field.
